This Privacy Policy explains how D1 Method LLC ("D1 Method," "we," "us") collects, uses and shares information through d1method.com and Junior Golf in Florida (juniorgolfinflorida.com) (together, the "Services").

1. Information we collect

(a) Information you give us: your name, email address, phone number, business or organization name, and anything you add to a listing (such as bio, photos, address, website and social links); messages and enquiries you send through the Services; reviews you post; and information you submit through our contact or signup forms.

(b) Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive your name, billing details, the last four digits of your card and your transaction history. We do not receive or store your full card number.

(c) Information collected automatically: device and browser type, IP address, pages visited, links clicked, and approximate location, collected through cookies and similar technologies. If you receive our emails, we may record whether you opened them and which links you clicked.

(d) Public information: some directory listings were created from information that businesses and organizations have made publicly available, such as their websites and public social media pages.

2. How we use information

We use information to: operate the directory and display listings; process memberships and payments; deliver enquiries to listing owners; send account, billing and service emails; send marketing emails about the Services (you can unsubscribe at any time); improve and secure the Services; prevent fraud and abuse; and comply with the law.

3. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only:

• Publicly, as part of a listing, for information you or the listed business choose to display;
• With the listing owner, when you send an enquiry through the Services;
• With service providers who help us run the Services, such as our website and email platform (NeuroFlow), payment processor (Stripe) and analytics providers, who may use it only to provide services to us;
• If required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

4. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences and understand how the Services are used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the Services work.

5. Email

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email. We may still send you account and billing messages while you have an account or membership.

6. Children's privacy

The Services are intended for adults, including parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it. Listing owners must not post personal information about individual minors without the consent of a parent or guardian.

7. Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account or listing is active and as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and tax requirements, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Billing records are kept as required by law.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can review and update your listing and account information at any time by signing in. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to remove your listing, by emailing team@d1method.com. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state law. We will respond to verified requests as required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for making a request.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post the new version with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify account holders by email.
